TI-Nspire™ Activities: Physics

In this activity, students use a simulation to explore conservation of momentum during two-dimensional perfectly elastic collisions.

First, they explore the effects of changing angle on the x- and y-components of momentum of an object.

Then, they explore the effects of changing mass, velocity, and angle on the total initial and final momentum of a system during a perfectly elastic collision.
